Following a restricted diet does not mean giving up cake! Many traditional recipes like macaroons and almond cakes are naturally free from gluten and dairy. Other recipes can easily be adapted to remove the allergens and create a Paleo-friendly version that does not compromise on taste or texture. These recipes use nut flours like ground almonds or coconut flour for structure, honey or coconut sugar for sweetening, and coconut oil or olive oil for fat.
